Cogne Acciai Speciali is proud to be a member of ResponsibleSteel, the first global initiative aimed at promoting sustainability throughout the entire steel value chain.

ResponsibleSteel brings together producers, raw material suppliers, customers, and organizations with the goal of developing a globally recognized standard and ensuring a more responsible steel production from an environmental, social, and ethical perspective.

The standard consists of 13 principles covering environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, which are further divided into approximately 60 criteria and over 500 externally verified requirements.

Being part of ResponsibleSteel represents another step for Cogne Acciai Speciali in its journey towards increasingly sustainable steel production, fully committing to the 12 principles of the ResponsibleSteel™ initiative.
