Cogne Acciai Speciali approves the 2023 Sustainability Report

36 hours of training on average per employee and 93% of staff on permanent contracts


This document, drafted voluntarily and in line with the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards of the Global Reporting Initiative, follows the “in accordance with the GRI Standards” option to ensure transparency on economic, environmental and social issues. The financial statements aim to provide a clear understanding of the company's activities, its results and their impact.

As it recognises the importance of its staff in achieving its objectives, Cogne Acciai Speciali relies on expert hands throughout the production chain, assigning tasks suited to each individual's inclinations. In 2023, women comprised 7% of the company's workforce (1,173 employees), with male staff predominantly occupying positions in production and maintenance. As a demonstration of Cogne Acciai Speciali's commitment to investing in lasting relationships with its staff, 93% of employees are hired with permanent contracts. The company also offered over 42,000 hours of training in 2023 with 36 hours of average training per employee. The average age of employees is 42 and most employees are in the 30-50 age bracket.

The sustainability report is not merely a formality, but a crucial aspect of a process of growth and maturation which has been strongly advocated by the company's management”.
