Cogne Acciai Speciali finalises the acquisition of Outokumpu Long Products business in Sweden
Today, after clearances from all competent authorities, Cogne Acciai Speciali acquires Outokumpu Long Products AB in Sweden, namely the Degerfors and Storfors Plants.
Massimiliano Burelli, Chief Executive Officer of Cogne Acciai Speciali declares: “With this acquisition Cogne Acciai Speciali strengthen its position in big bars production and brings into the Group an extremely performing unit, whose production capabilities will be further developed, the supply chain synergised with the Aosta Plant for blooms supply and the business model integrated into Cogne Acciai Speciali successful one”.
