Cogne Group's New Multi-Plant Planning Model – COGNE-PLG

Cogne Acciai Speciali SpA is participating in a project funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Mission 4 (Education and Research), Component 2 (From Research to Business), Investment 2.3.

The project, called "New Multi-Plant Planning Model of the Cogne Group – COGNE-PLG ," aims to develop a multi-plant planning model consistent with the specifics of the steel market, aimed at ensuring greater reliability, flexibility, and efficiency in processes. The initiative also includes the definition of a digital roadmap for implementing the new model and the development of an integrated digital solution that is scalable over time and adaptable to the Group's various plants.

The project was selected as part of the call for proposals for industrial research, experimental development, and feasibility studies managed by the MADE Competence Center , in line with the innovation and technology transfer objectives promoted by the program.

The project is identified by the following CUP: H69J25000340008 and benefits from a financed amount equal to €47,253.50.
